In this editorial project, we focus on one of the sectors that are currently drawing the attention of a high number of scientists, which is quantum computing and all its derivations of the main theoretical-practical advantages of its use. That is to say, a new global revolution in the context of new information and communication technologies. The progressive decrease of the hardware and the potential increase of the calculation speed of the processors in tiny technological devices of the static or dynamic type, allows to simulate structures and systems that currently belong to the realm of science fiction.

The minituarization of the hardware, joined to the potential of the software, will radically transform the social communications in the educational, health, labor sytems, etc. Besides, the rise of the use of artificial intelligence, together with the quantum technologies, will be an indispensable resource for the resolution of a myriad problems that currently have no solution, or which require great investments in human and/or financial capital. A new global healthcare context has clearly exposed the "utopian equation", where the sum of elite education, new technologies and globalization equals (hypothetically) a "higher quality of life" and "better social well-being." The reality in virtual classrooms has indicated inefficient interactive systems, contents, theories, practices, and concepts (e.g., children-computer interaction, interactive playgrounds, virtual reality, music, biology, and so on), obtained from deficiencies in the continuous training of professionals for such tasks. Faced with a local and global unexpected circumstances, there have been situations of demotivation to distance education and cognitive disorientation of teachers and students.

The results derived from a supposed training of educational or pseudo elitist excellence of future professionals in the ICT sector, through masters, specialization courses, doctorates, post-doctorates, etc. have been null. These professionals in the 21st century have exposed a myriad of shortcomings from the technological, pedagogical point of view, communication skills, etc., as well as in the basic notions of the distance teaching and learning process, through the use of traditional and / or inclusive technologies. Consequently, new educational cracks have opened, in the era of communicability expansion and that need a real and speedy repair. More ...

The naturalness of the interfaces is a key qualitative attribute in the communication process between state-of-the-art technological devices and users around the world. However, there is a tendency to constantly redesign them due to the evolution of computer services related to 3D user interfaces, cad-cam, 3D printing, scientific visualization, and so forth.

The successful and universal interfaces come from professionals with their own and up-to-date knowledge in computer graphics, communicability and interactive design. All of them based on a functional, ergonomic and innovative perspective. That is, avoiding incoherent abstractions, together with the infinite semiosis of iconographic interpretations from some interdisciplinary fields such as electronic art or digital art, digital living, audiovisual, etc. In short, ambiguities and vagueness are not ideal for generating durable solutions over time. The simulation of 3D reality must constantly surpass the emulation of reality from the point of view of the human eye. More ...

The Information Technology security context is affected by disruptive technology, rapid market changes and user preferences on social media. Threats to security are constant and growing in systems, applications, databases, web pages, and so on, of industries, SMEs, start-ups, spin-offs, R&D laboratories, financial entities, etc. Espionage, data theft, extortion, and others are some of the consequences through computer viruses, adware, and so forth.

Today, codes of ethics, statutes for the non-proliferation of hatred, violence, etc. online, are some of the masks used by cybercriminals and terrorists in science, technology, engineering, math, biology, along with others. This is because there is a great national and international legal vacuum to vigorously defend the rights of citizens against harassment, attack, persecution, etc., on the Internet and real life. There is not only great immunity, but also a kind of implicit reward from colleagues, against stalking, straining, mobbing, bossing, bullyng and so on. It is easy to observe how, in the context of work, education, play, etc., these executioners become victims and vice versa, through the strategy of victimization of the offender. More ...
