Title: "Reconstructing and Reorienting Software Education for New Information and Communication Technologies: Including Innovative Methodologies in the Face of the Rise of Narco-Education, Human Alienation and Algocracy"
Handbook Aims
In the last thirty years, terms such as multidisciplinary, interdisciplinary, transdisciplinary, and pluridisciplinary, among other synonyms originating from sectors related to Humanities and Information Science (HIS), have served to erode the foundations of the pillars of pure and natural sciences, demotivating millions of students and promoting the abandonment of computer science / engineering studies in the early years of university. Those fostering this reality through the use of these terms are generally tenured academic staff or officials.
They have found "the ideal solution" to delegate their research, educational, and other activities to the weakest links in the academic workforce: scholarship recipients, students, contracted staff, international visiting professors, and so on. When publicly denounced for these or other illicit activities, they resort to a victimhood strategy. This is how they obscure the reality of being perpetrators, transforming themselves into virtual victims, thanks to traditional media (press, TV, radio, etc.) and social networks. Or, they buy prearranged interviews with local media outlets so that journalists will help them promote their false information, their delusions of grandeur, and their egocentrism on social media, among other typical characteristics that can be summarized by the figure of Pinocchio.
A Pinocchio puppet who is gender-neutral, immune to the legal system (national and international), and who never stops lying. The purpose of their lies is, on the one hand, the annihilation of formal, natural, and factual sciences. On the other hand, by having access to new technologies and their content, it is the destruction of the capacity for reasoning and independent thought in new generations.
In the current context, these groups promote global chaos by fostering a narco-education and corruption within associations, institutions, federations, universities, bank foundations, etc., related to the teaching of bits, qubits, pixels, and so forth. To this end, they employ a wide range of strategies, tactics, mechanisms, methods, and techniques, from publishing articles, within closed circles of friends to awarding prizes or securing lifetime employment. The ultimate goal is to ensure the continued dismantling of the educational and scientific foundation for the total alienation of the population.
This is one of the reasons why this handbook of research invites authors to present truths that are uncomfortable for the system and the educational structure, ultimately revealing the reality of the software educational context, both locally and globally. Based on these premises, the aim is to envision the current state of the art in these matters, as well as to focus on the reconstruction and reestablishment of the fundamental principles that, for decades, have masterfully guided the daily advancement of computer science (software and hardware) and all its related fields. Therefore, the following syllabus is listed below, which includes primary, secondary, and tertiary topics. These topics do not preclude the presentation of others that may be highly relevant and impactful, from both theoretical and/or practical perspectives:

Submissions:
Two-stage submission: First, interested researchers and practitioners are invited to submit a chapter proposal clearly stating your focused domain problems and contributions related to one of the above topics due on * Open *; second, authors of accepted proposals will be notified by "between two weeks after the submission/s" about the status of their proposals and sent chapter organizational guidelines. Full chapters are due by * Open *. All submitted chapters will be reviewed on a triple-blind review basis. The handbook is scheduled to be published in 2027 by Blue Herons Editions (Canada, Argentina, Spain and Italy).

Chapter proposal guidelines:
The proposal is expected to be 2 - 4 pages, submitted in .doc or .pdf format, composed of title, author(s) (name, affiliation, phone number, and e-mail address), extended abstract (background, related work, principal contributions, references and so on), table of contents, and contact author/s. All enquiries and submissions can be forwarded to handbook@blueherons.net
Additional Notes:
1) Short Chapter: The longest extension of the text varies between 12 and 16 pages ('5,000 - 6,000 words). Long Chapter: The longest extension of the text varies between 24 and 30 pages (8,000 - 15,000 words). Exceptionally, the extension may be longer than this, but each additional page has a 25 euros cost (maximun 4 pages).
2) The chapters that have been positively evaluated by the reviewers (at least three), whose remarks or corrections –in the case there were, having been made by the authors, could be published in the handbook. The publication cost is 375 euros (short chapter) and 395 euros (long chapter), and the payment should be made through a bank transfer to the Blue Herons account, as it is next detailed:

The payment of the transfer has to be made prior to July 21th, 2027 for the publication of the chapter. Send us a scanned copy of your bank transfer by email: handbook@blueherons.net Please ensure that you pay any charges you bank may charge. We will send you confirmation by email when we have received your payment.
3) All cancellations received in writing by July 27, 2027 will be fully refunded, less 35 euros which will be deducted for administrative expenses. No refunds will be made from July 28, 2027 onwards.
4) The author or authors will get only one a free copy of the handbook. The costs of certificated post and by airmail are at the expense of the author(s).
5) The author(s) can request more than a copy (until finishing the first edition) with a 40% special discount.
